Add "Fave It!" to your blog

Here's what the link will look like:

BLOGGER - CLASSIC MODE

  • Login to your Blogger blog
  • From the Dashboard, click on the blog to which you want to add "Fave It"
  • Click the "Template" tab
  • Between <!-- Begin .post --> and <!-- End .post -->,
    add the following code just before </MainOrArchivePage>:

BLOGGER - BETA MODE

If you are using Blogger Beta, the new templates do not allow you to customize each blog post. If you wish to add "Fave It" to each post, you will need to Revert to Classic Template.
  • Login to your Blogger blog
  • From the Dashboard, click on the blog to which you want to add "Fave It"
  • Click the "Template" tab
  • Click the "Edit HTML" tab
  • Click on "Revert to Classic Template"
  • Follow the instruction above for Blogger - Classic

WORDPRESS

If your blog is hosted by WordPress, for security reasons, you are not permitted to add JavaScript to your blog. This means that you cannot add the slick JavaScript version of "Fave It" to your blog. You can add the 'fall-back' version of "Fave It", by hand, to each post, but you cannot pass the url and title parameters so the user experience is not good.

(WordPress has work-arounds for YouTube and Google Video. Feel free to send feedback to WordPress requesting that they add a work-around for your Faves.)
