I have a feeling I've been saying it wrong all my life...my aunt just told me it should sound like 'kroose' -- as in rhyming with 'goose', not 'krooz', which sounds like 'cruise' and always results in people writing my name as "Cruz" when they hear it and see me, since apparently I look Hispanic.
