Like many other companies, Yumi's (Anchalee Saengtai) business started in the back of a garage (in 2002); now it is an efficiently running family business with 2 shops on prime locations in Bangkok (Sukhumvit soi7 and Suan Lum night bazar soi4, see maps below). Soon a third and fourth shop will be opened at Chatuchak & Pattaya markets.
Internet-based sales started in december 2004.

Fascinating article on Jeff Koons from the April 23 New Yorker. The giant locomotive hanging above the entrance to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art will be quite the thing to see.
