Yikes.

Quoted: In a spectacular act of complicity with the religious right, the Department of Health and Human Services Monday released a proposal that allows any federal grant recipient to obstruct a woman's access to contraception. In order to do this, the Department is attempting to redefine many forms of contraception, the birth control 40% of Americans use, as abortion.

An inside account from one of the attorneys involved. If the judges ruling stands, it appears he may have essentially convicted Bush of multiple felonies.

This is horribly disappointing.

Quoted: The bill has changed. So I don't think the security threats have changed, I think the security threats are similar. My view on FISA has always been that the issue of the phone companies per se is not one that overrides the security interests of the American people.
