Personally I prefer alternative strategies for any security ("normal" or "exotic") but then as a risk averse, conservative investor I am not prepared to speculate on traditional OR exotic beta. They are too hazardous for my risk tolerance. Alpha is safer.

Looks like Microsoft Live Labs has shipped a very low-end outlining tool on Live Labs. It also has a toolbar that looks like it can extract web clippings.

I really don't get what this service is for. Seems like Microsoft is producing a lot of things like this lately!
