FYI for the comic geeks - notice the lower left hand corner. this was originally shown to show 'first run' comics vs. reprints. the reprints had bar-codes. also if you notice they show the black custome of spiderman (which you later learn is venom).

This is fantastic. I just re-read Midnight's Children a few weeks ago and appreciated it again.

I just started a new blog called "We Be Reading" ... it's a mixture of reviews for books I read and those that the kid reads. I have 4 posts up so far. Someday I hope to convince T to talk about what he is reading too. Add me to your reader!

I LOVED the anne of green gables books when i was little. i still have all of them (except for the fourth in the series, anne of windy poplars) in my bedroom at home. when the summer slows down, i might have to pull them out and re-read them in celebration.

there's a "pre-quel" out now too -- "before green gables". might have to check that out even though drew has banned me from buying any more books this summer.
