Another plastic cover/shield. Covers entire case, which is a bit unusual.

Quoted: The invisibleSHIELD™ is the premier name in handheld device protection. Made from a urethane film originally used to protect the leading edges of military helicopter blades, the invisibleSHIELD is clear, durable, and virtually scratch-proof. The invisibleSHIELD is precision cut to fit your BlackBerry 8100 Pearl, giving it perfectly contoured protection that other screen protectors can't match.

QR Codes are in wide use in Japan - cell phones incorporate QR Code scanners that can read the codes and direct the user to a web page automatically.

This is a great way to link the physical to the online world. There are so many possible applications:

- Retrieve information about a place or thing
- Report something about a physical place or thing (this public bathroom is in need of service).
- Complete a purchase (buy me)
- Confirm my location (security guard was here)

I wonder if I can get a QR decoder for my Blackberry!

Some early pictures of i-mate's SmartFlip, aka HTC Star Trek, which is a thin, RAZR-esque clamshell phone running Windows Mobile 5.0 + EFP (The messaging and security pack). There hasn't been a Windows Mobile flipphone since the Motorola MPX200 so I'm pretty excited to see this, being more of a clamshell person rather than a candybar one.
