I support maximum sentencing for this man's crimes.

Quoted: Experts in trade secrets litigation and U.S.-China relations who have followed the case say the scope of the alleged spy work since the late 1970s likely led the government to prosecute Chung under the tougher statute to send a message to other spies and to China.

Quoted: One of his friends came up with an idea to contact the thieves.
"He said 'I'm going to text these guys, I'm going to blow some smoke their way,'" Heuss said. "He said. 'I'm going to tell them I've got a bunch of hot chicks, as if I'm texting you, and that we've got some drugs, too.'"

Some people will read this story and see a humorous tale of thievery gone wrong. I read it and feel sorry for the parents of the thief for having paid tens of thousands of dollars in tuition to find out their son is an idiot.

Quoted: Ketsenburg, who lives in Hutchens House, said that after his Xbox was stolen, he turned on his wireless Xbox controller and found that it was still connecting to his Xbox. Based on this discovery, Ketsenburg said he realized that his Xbox must be nearby, he said. The controller connected to the Xbox on the fourth, fifth and sixth floors of Hutchens but not on the third floor and seventh floor, so through process of elimination, Ketsenburg said he figured out that the stolen Xbox must be on the fifth floor. Following the controller's signal, Ketsenburg said he was able to pinpoint the room where his Xbox was stolen. The Xbox 360 wireless controller has a 30-foot range, according to the Xbox Web site. When looking for his Xbox, Ketsenburg said the light-emitting diodes of the controller flashed when he was out of range.

Quoted: What was the thinking behind cutting the measly few thousand dollars needed to cover the yearly cost of swabs, specimen containers and medical tests? ... The rape-kit controversy is a troubling matter. The insult to rape victims is obvious. So is the sexism inherent in singling them out to foot the bill for investigating their own case. And the main result of billing rape victims is to protect their attackers by discouraging women from reporting sexual assaults.
