Hula Grill Kaanapali
Award-Winning Oceanfront Dining at its Best
Located at Whalers Village on famous Kaanapali Beach, Hula Gril Kaanapalil features award-winning oceanfront dining at its best.

Reminiscent of a 1930s Hawaiian beach house, Hula Grill Kaanapali features a nostalgic setting characteristic of the style conceived by renowned island architect C.W. Dickey. Its beachfront location combined with its warm koa wood walls, collection of hula girl figurines, antique koa canoes and Hawaiian memorabilia evoke memories of a more romantic Hawaii.

Adding to the feeling of an old Hawaiian home is Hula Grill Kaanapali's own private beach, the Barefoot Bar, where diners sit with their toes in the sand at tables placed beneath palm-thatched umbrellas.

Mio is best known for its superb sushi, but it delivers on non-sushi Japanese fare as well. The location on Hawthorne is my favorite. The Mio sushi in the Pearl District is a fun experience as well.

Rob and I tried this place out. Amazingly good food, good alcohol list and regular live music gigs. Very cool. I learned what an Arnold Palmer is, that turtles are tasty as well as cute, and that fried green tomatos are so the bomb.

Quoted: We are proud to be a house notorious for some good grub and great people. Not to mention being the best kept secret in Everett ...

A very motley crew, I'll watch.

Quoted: I spent about half of last fall in Spain, taping television with Mario Batali, Gwyneth Paltrow and Claudia Bassols. Here’s a preview of the show, which will air on public television this September.

One of the best restaurants in Portland, the Saucebox features an eclectic menu of pan asian food.... Loving the sushi bar there. Dj's start after 10pm usually playing down beat tunes similar to Mark Farina's Mushroom Jazz.

Quoted: Pioneering the Portland Deejay-Cafe movement in 1995, with equal emphasis on food, service and vibe, Saucebox maintains a reputation as the place for the finest in pan-asian and pacific island cuisine with its insider vibe and unique presence.
