"Zappos is known for service…and for letting their service agents “be themselves”. I put this to the test tonight and threw a curveball or two at the guy helping me in a Live Chat. I used the name “Timmy” as my alias and asked a totally random question about a random product. See actual chat log below. Zappos rocks! I could not even make this stuff up, I swear."
Found this hilarious - if only customer service was like this all the time. Sucks that shipping + exchange rate makes it unviable here.

1 FaverShareViewed: 5 TimesQuoted: Tversky and Kahneman conducted the following experiment
When contemplating the purchase of a $25 pen, the majority of subjects would drive to another store 15 minutes away to save $7
When contemplating the purchase of a $455 suit, the majority of subjects would not drive to another store 15 minutes away to save $7
The amount saved and time involved are the same, but people make very different choices

It took me a few minutes to figure out (the drinking one gave it away), but damn, this is awesome. Mystery at it's best! Tons more pics via ahboon, and the answer to the trick towards the bottom if you want to spoil the mystery! Also, a Youtube video of him in action.

Both parties are great, but this really put it over the top in those cheesy but oh sooo hilarious AXE Ads. via Scribd (I have no clue who created it, but this is where I found it)

Disruption is good! She's received a great deal of media attention much like Kournikova, Venus Williams, or Andre Agassi! What a trend setter! Rock on! Who says ya can't be stylish in a kick-butt
"Considering how much amusement can be had by using the MacBook Pro's accelerometers for completely unintended purposes, it stands to reason that hacking into the iPhone's sensors would be a virtually endless font of entertainment... power of the iPhone's 3-axis accelerometer is largely untapped in the OS itself, so it'll be great fun to see what sorts of crazy business the homebrew folks can dream up."
Pretty cool video. There's so much more than can be done with accelerometers, but implement it too fast and the consumers won't be ready and won't like the device.

click to playAwesome video on the how we make choices and the effects of them. I love this stuff - wouldn't want to study it, but I think companies that understand this do so much better. Maybe they're manipulating with our minds, but on the other hand, they're helping us.
Now if only the open-source people would work this out, instead of thinking they're the second coming and that years of psych research can be invalidated because they're special.

I'd seen previous attempts in this line that didn't fair to well stylishly nor environmentally, but the these
