I've been wondering how to sync my multi-mac setup. I hope some 43folders readers have some good solutions!

I can't believe THIS bit of brilliant undocumented interface in Windows XP. Somehow, I got myself in a state where all filenames were missing in the thumbnail view of a folder. Made it next to useless for me since even folder names are missing.

I must have held down the SHIFT key when selecting thumbnail view at some point. This set a STICKY setting where thumbnails are missing file names. There is no way to fix this setting other than to hold SHIFT down again when selecting thumbnail view.

I can't believe someone let this mystery feature into the OS - what a bunch of idiots! It took me about 1/2 hour of searching to find this helpful bit of advice about how to correct it.

こうした場合に便利なのが、フォルダに色やマークをつけることができるソフトだ。フォルダに視覚的な違いをつけることで、大量のフォルダの中から重要なものを一目でピックアップできるようになり、管理が効率的に行えるようになる。ほかにも、プライベートと業務でフォルダの見分けがつくようにしたり、テンプレート類をまとめたフォルダの色だけを変えておくなど、活用方法は多い。
