Belly dancing and Tai-chi, the two routine exercises I enjoy doing the most. Tai-chi for me is disciplining the mind and the body. It’s a slow impact martial art movement that I find very helpful in maintaining my chi, in traditional Chinese medicine; it’s the balance of negative and positive forms in the body which I also find essential for maintaining good health. The benefits of belly dance are both mental and physical for me. It’s fun and it makes me sweat out all the unwanted toxic off my body but most of all, it’s the kind of dance that is entertaining.
