I found this in Todd Jones' blog and became an instant fan of his writing. I'm not sure if the "sever his arms" part is verbatim from mlb's letter, but it makes for enjoyable reading.

just downloaded this old DOS Sierra game and got it to work on XP. It's so dumb, but I played it for HOURS when I was a kid. You can simulate earning $3 an hour at McDonalds, and work your way up to a job at the factory!! What a great town! rofl.
