Apparently, asphalted roads make great solar panels. Very cool.

Quoted: Water is pumped through the heat exchangers to pick up the heat that was stored during summer. This water goes into the Ooms building and is used to warm the place up. After performing that task, it is pumped under the asphalt and the residual heat it carries helps to keep the road free of snow and ice.

I watched this Guy Kawasaki hosted session this morning. He assembled a panel of teenagers and college students to ask them about their uses of technology and web products. It was pretty interesting for anyone trying to market products to this demographic...
