Unbelievable. Don't mess with power in Texas.

Quoted: Two nurses who lodged a complaint with the Texas Medical Board about a physician's standard of practice at a West Texas hospital face up to 10 years in prison after being indicted on charges of misuse of official information.

This is amazing. You have to watch the whole thing. Even Hank Hill could not properly critique this. I won't even try.

Update: it's actually critiqued exceptionally well here: http://blackcynic.com/blog/?p=1681

Would be really great to know the power consumption over time for each wall outlet in your house! Eventually someone will come out with replacement wall outlets that monitor usage and report back to central tracker via wireless or over the power line itself.

However it will be many years before this is viable for homeowners to actually help reducing their electrical footprint. I suspect device manufacturers will drive electrical usage reduction more than homeowners directly.
