TinyProjector is a very small portable character projector, based on inexpensive laser diodes, projecting a single line of text onto nearby walls and tables. TinyProjector might be useful for projecting text from portable and wearable devices like cellhones and PocketPCs that will be connected, e.g., via wireless serial connection.

Quoted: InFocus recently released its ScreenPlay SP5000 LCD projector ($1900 street), a small and lightweight projector aimed at the home theater market. After putting it through its paces at DMN's Midwest Test Facility theater, our conclusion is decidedly positive. Its HDTV compatibility and high performance showed us how far LCD projection technology has come in the past two years, where the SP5000 showed very few of the weaknesses attributed to LCD projectors while exploiting the technology's inherent strengths. Here's our hands-on review.

A little pricey, clunky and strange but this analog projector clock looks like it would get people talking at a party...

Quoted: Unlike typical projection clocks that produce a simple digital display, this device shows the time in a classic analog face, including a fully-animated sweeping second hand, to create a crisp, clear wall clock made of pure light.

Even though Samsung's SP-P300ME never made it stateside, their SP-P310MEMX Pocket Imager LED projector will, for an MSRP of $799. The 1.5-pound projector isn't the smallest LED projector we've seen but that's okay.
