FaceBook - 33M

Propeller (aka Netscape) - 3M

For comparison, Faves (then Blue Dot) was at 300,000 US unique visitors (1M world wide).

Trying to reverse-engineer Digg's ranking algorithms. Some of the anti-spam tactics are interesting:

- You can add a maximum of 4 friends per hour
- Between 35 and 90 diggs to make a front page (many more if you have lots of friends on digg)
- Stories have to hit the front page within 24 hours or so (or they never will)
