Google's Calendar widget builder. Support for multiple calendars to display, and some style options. This always results in a single iframe tag to embed on your site.

It seems odd that the builder has to sent size information to the embedded iframe url. Why is this not just rendered on the client where it has access to it's frame size?

Quoted: Back for more? Well then, welcome to lucky number seven in our series on exploring Seattle. Next stop, the International District -- something of an enigma, slightly confusing, but always exhilarating. You won't hear …

Ha, I walk by this place pretty often and I didn't realize it was a Starbucks until someone else told me.

My latest blog post...

Quoted: In part five of this series , we make our way over the bridge and into Ballard ... a neighborhood so hip, so historical, and so out there on its own (that's a good thing), it's easy for newcomers to forget it's part of Seattle.

Sad, but sounds to me like a move might actually be a good idea!

Quoted: The owner of Elliott Bay Book Co. said Sunday he's considering moving the landmark Seattle business from its longtime home in Pioneer Square partly because of financial troubles.

Nice coverage of OneAmerica's candidate forum yesterday.

Quoted: 23,000 new voters: That's how many immigrants one group (OneAmerica!!) registered - before last year's election. They are becoming a unexpected force in politics as muslims and immigrants have now caught the attention of local candidates.

Eco friendly homes that have been on the market for years. Very nice looking, close to Green Lake, but pricey at the original price of $725K to $825K.

The bank has foreclosed on the remaining, unsold units and they are now for sale again, for $399K to $649K. Their cost was high because of their high-level of built-green certification.

Quoted: Almost all the construction waste was recycled. Some materials from the warehouse that previously occupied the site were reused. Many other construction materials came from local sources. The homes feature formaldehyde-free doors and millwork and on-demand hot water systems. Rain, captured in a 23,000-gallon underground cistern, provides all the water for irrigation. Fixtures and appliances use relatively little energy and water — Pryde Johnson actually prepared an owners' manual telling buyers how to use and maintain them.
