Quoted: パーソナルファイアウォールソフトの「ZoneAlarm」シリーズで、9日に公開されたマイクロソフトの修正パッチをインストールした場合に、インターネットに接続できなくなる現象が発生した。開発元のCheck Point Software Technologiesでは、この問題を修正したバージョンを公開しており、ユーザーにアップデートを呼びかけている。

この問題は、「ZoneAlarm Basic Firewall」「ZoneAlarm Antivirus」など、ZoneAlarmシリーズのソフトについて、マイクロソフトが9日に公開した修正パッチ「KB951748」（MS08-037）を適用した後、インターネットに接続できなくなるという問題が発生するもの。この問題はWindows XP/2000で発生し、Windows Vistaには影響がないという。

Check Point Software Technologiesでは、この問題に対応したZoneAlarmの修正版を公開した。また、この問題によりインターネットに接続できなくなっている場合には、ZoneAlarmの設定で「インターネットゾーン」の項目を「medium（中）」に下げることで対応できるとしている。
