Goofy looking guy but he does write incredibly interesting books. Here's an inteview with Philip Yancey.

I haven't read this book yet, but I will (since I've read most of Philip's other books). I gues I could be his poster child for this book - I believe in the importance of prayer but am really lousy at it, except when the chips are down.

In the 1988 film Rain Man, Dustin Hoffman portrays an autistic man named Kim Peek. Peek has total recall of more than 9,000 books. When he attends a performance of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, he stands up near the end and loudly orders, “You’ve got to stop it, stop it, stop it!” The actor had skipped the second to the last verse of the play. Caught in his mistake, the actor apologizes, saying, “The verses are so much alike, I didn’t think it would matter.”
