This is a really great article on the phone industry and how they pay a lot of lip service to the word innovation and yet are geared in ways that make acheivement of that objective impossible. It's a sad little history lesson about an industry built around competition rather than value creation and new thought.

TiVo HD has an offer for the Lifetime Service (temporarily). I've never regretted my Lifetime Service purchase many years ago. It paid off again for me with the Series3.
