Update (1/21/2017): The woman who had sex with her pit bull so she could arose her partner has been sentenced to probation. The original story is below.
An Australian woman sits in jail awaiting sentencing for several charges including — having sex with her pit bull.
According to the Daily Mail, Jenna Louis Driscoll pleaded guilty to crimes of bestiality and three additional drug-related charges.
Driscoll claims the reason she performed sex acts with the animal was because her boyfriend asked her to.
The charges were reportedly filed after police discovered shocking video footage of the 27-year-old having sex with a canine while they were investigating unrelated allegations back in 2014.
She also admitted to stabbing someone with a fork, biting a child and trafficking cannabis. According to Metro UK, an animal rights organization stated the obvious:
“This isn’t something you’d normally expect, it’s quite unusual,” RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) Queensland said.
Quite unusual seems like it might just be a little bit of an understatement, but what is unusual is that, according to BroBible, bestiality isn’t covered under Australia’s animal cruelty laws. So RSPCA can’t remove the dog from Driscoll’s custody because bestiality isn’t a clear violation of their animal cruelty laws.
