A senseless act of violence in the West Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles, led to two teens being arrested and one nearly losing his life.
According to the Los Angles Daily News, Jordan Peisner, a 14-year-old student at El Camino Real Charter High School, was hanging out with two friends after school on Dec. 2, when he was sucker-punched in the head. And it was all caught on video.
Peisner’s injuries were so severe, he was airlifted to Los Angeles Children’s Hospital. His injuries consisted of a skull fracture, a 14-millimeter blood clot on his brain, a concussion and a ruptured eardrum.
One male teen was arrested on felony assault charges and another female teen on suspicion of felony conspiracy. They were both released to their parents due to their age.
Peisner has yet to return to school, but his classmates haven’t forgotten about him. The Cool 2 Be Kind club, El Camino Real Chapter is organizing a peaceful anti-bullying march this Saturday in honor of Jordan and any other kid dealing with similar issues.
The two teens charged in this horrific act of violence are due to appear in court on Feb. 2.
