Authorities in Florida say this woman had an interesting response when she was stopped for a traffic violation:

“Eat me.”

Thus began the odyssey of Kate Santana, a 29-year-old Vero Beach resident, who Florida State troopers say ran a couple of red lights, which is why she was stopped.

And that’s when the fun started.

The Sebastian Daily, citing officials reports, said Santana was driving the car with her boyfriend in the passenger seat. After a trooper detected a smell of alcohol.  he asked if she’d take a sobriety test. After initial agreeing, she changed her mind.

The trooper then asked if  Santana understood her rights, and she responded by flipping a middle finger and saying,  “eat me.”

Santana was booked into jail in connection with possession of cocaine (a felony), possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence e and and poperating with a suspended license.
