Police in Northern Virginia arrested seven males during a sex-sting operation aimed at finding men wanting to commit indecent acts with juveniles.
One of those arrested —¬†a Maryland police officer.

Christopher Dunkes, 27, a patrolman with the Montgomery County police department, responded to a Craigslist ad posted by an officer posing as a 15-year-old girl, detectives said in the criminal complaint via the Washington Post.

The undercover officer received emails and text messages from Dunkes in which he proposed specific sex acts and suggested meeting in his car, authorities alleged.

When the Maryland cop showed for the rendezvous in a Target parking lot, Virginia police arrested him.

Dunkes, who joined the police force in 2014, has been suspended without pay, a Montgomery County Police Department representative told the Washington Post.

Six other men were arrested in the sting operations, according to the report.
