Kane may have later been tossed over the top rope by Stone Cold Steve Austin for the winning elimination, but Kane’s 11 eliminations would go down as the record for most in a Royal Rumble match, though this was later broken by Roman Reigns when he racked up 12 in 2014.

Roman may have beaten his record, but Kane still has the record for most Royal Rumble eliminations ever, with a whopping 43 (not counting the time in 1999 when he also eliminated himself).
