Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump was rushed off stage by the Secret Service at a rally in Nevada on Saturday night in a tense campaign moment just days before the 2016 presidential election.
Trump later returned to the stage to continue delivering his remarks. At this time, it is not totally clear what transpired, though reports say that there may have been someone shouting that a man in the audience had a gun.
According to Mediaite, CNN producer Noah Gray reported that a white man in his 30s or 40s was seen being escorted off the premises.
When Trump returned to his podium, he thanked the Secret Service and addressed the crowd.
“Nobody said it was going to be easy for us, I want to thank the Secret Service,” Trump said.
