Courtney Black has battled against issues from an eating disorder and her appearance in the past, while even overcoming her obsession with trying to be as thin as possible. The fitness model from London has no longer found herself battling to achieve the ideal weight, but is now battling trolls on the Internet.
According to Daily Star, at one point Black was down to weighing only 93 pounds, with a BMI of 16.5, which easily had her in the underweight category.
She’s changed her diet and exercise regimen and she looks incredible at a much healthier 117 pounds.
“My obsession with being stick thin was a really low point of my life,” Black said. “Of course I get upset sometimes about what people say. But I know that to keep motivated and help others, I can’t let the online bullies stop me.”
After having enough, especially when her family and friends showed concern, she decided it was time for a change. She learned about nutrition and completely changed her lifestyle and uses the what she’s learned to help motivated others.
”Striving to be skinny is in no way maintainable or good for you,” she said. “I’ve embraced my curves now and realize how attractive they are.”
A lot of internet haters, though, have come after Courtney, saying that she should go back to the way she was before. But she just keeps tuning that out, posting sexy Instagram pic after sexy Instagram. Keep it up, Courtney!
Today I had a random search for these pictures I had sent a fitness model in June 2015 asking for some advice… when I found them 🙃😧😧 this was just over 1 year ago… I remember weighing about 45/46 kilo (5"2). In just over a year, I have had two operations putting me out of training for a total of 6 months, other than that time I have been focused on gaining some muscle and size. Training 6 times per week religiously, small amounts of cardio and following a healthy balanced diet. I am a fully qualified personal trainer and coach which has helped my journey as I am knowledgable but I also do constant research and watch videos , read articles on training styles etc to improve my physique. The best way of learning is to do your research and ask other people what works for them… 💪🏽🙌🏼 excited to see what the next year brings. I am always so so hard on myself wondering why I'm not as developed as some of the fit chicks on here but I need to take a step back and chill the fuck out because realistically I know what I'm doing and I have made serious gains 😂 email me for persnonal training and diet plans 🙌🏼💪🏽k
#MondayMotivation… eat your carbs and never skip leg day 🙌🏼 just over one year in between these pictures , smashing gym 6 days per week without fail (even on holidays and when I cannot be bothered I still make the effort to go! When I feel my body needs a rest I give it that but there's a huge difference between your muscles needing rest and just being plain lazy.) email me for personal training in Essex and diet plans 💪🏽 please do not DM.
