You may recognize his work on such movies as the “RoboCop” reboot and “Transformers: Age of Extinction” or on the “Starcraft 2,” “World Of Warcraft” and “Diablo 3” video game trailers, but now 3D modeling designer and robotics expert Vitaly Bulgarov is working on bringing a real-deal robot to South Korea.

Working with a team at Korea Future Technology, Bulgarov’s 13-foot tall, 1.5 ton machine, dubbed METHOD-1, can mimic the actions of whoever is manning it, and seeing it in action is some seriously awesome stuff.

Not much information has come out regarding the use of a machine like METHOD-1, but here’s hoping it’s being used for good, not evil.  We’ve seen Avatar, after all.
