One man looking to meet up with a 12-year-old girl for sex in a Newnan, Georgia hotel lobby was greeted instead by drawn guns and police officers, and he’s now been indicted on a seven felony charges.

Ryan Reza Salehzadeh, 26, faces five counts of attempted child molestation and one count of attempt to entice a child for indecent purposes, according to Cowetta County (Ga) Court documents, where his case is still pending.

Authorities paint a disturbing picture of a man who brought Gummy bears to a meeting he thought would be with a 12-year-old girl.

Instead, Salehzadeh didn’t see this coming. He allegedly exchanged messages with the girl on the chat website Omegle and when her parents found out about it, they notified police, WAGA-TV reported.

The police posed as the girl and set up a “meeting.”

Let’s just say, the meeting was not what he thought that it was.

“Hands up! Get on the ground,” police yelled, and Salehzadeh was arrested. Police found a bag containing condoms, the morning after pill and Gummy Bears in Salehzadeh’s possession.

Salehzadeh is being held without bail as his case winds through the court system. His last court appearance was earlier this month, and there’s no word on when he’s due back in court.
