Former Santa Fe High School teacher Kelsey Leigh Gutierrez, 25, is accused of having sexual relationships with two students.

According to Click2Houston, Gutierrez has been charged with three counts of improper relationship between educator and student.

The former English teacher was terminated on Nov. 18 after officials launched an investigation that began with a tip, prosecutors said.

Court documents showed the 18-year-old student and Gutierrez had met up on Nov. 12 in the parking lot of his home. The two kissed, then climbed into the back seat to have sex. According to the report, the two met again four days later and had sex in his residence.

The two exchanged text messages which provided investigators with proof of the encounters including meeting times and ratings of his performance, according to investigators.

Court documents showed there was a second student in 2015 that Gutierrez had another inappropriate relationship with, meeting with him four times.

According to the news report, Gutierrez began working for Santa Fe High School as an educational aide in 2014, and was hired as a teacher beginning in the 2015 school year.

Gutierrez is being held on $45,000 bond.
