What in the hell is going on in Warren, Ohio?

The city became the first in the state to make bestiality illegal after a local man, Salvador Rendon, was convicted of animal cruelty for having sex with his dog multiple times over six years. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail, of which were suspended.

Warren  police are now looking for Amber Finney, 33, and are accusing her of the wrong kind of puppy love.

Police have issued a warrant for Finney’s arrest because they say she’s been caught on video have sex with a dog. She would be the first person arrested under the city’s new law, according to WKBN-TV in Youngstown. If convicted, she would face a $1,000 fine and six months in jail.

The WKBN report said police have talked to Finney, who said she’s out of town and would turn herself in when she returns. She also told authorities the purported video is fake, but police dispute that characterization.

In addition to Rendon and the allegations against Finney, a 16-year-old boy had sex with a small dog last year in Warren and was convicted on animal cruelty. The boy’s offense happened before the new law went into effect.
