Ronda Rousey joined “The Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday for a little chat ahead of her Nov. 14 fight against Holly Holm in Australia.
Rousey, as usual, wowed the crowd and spoke her mind.
While she had nothing bad to say about Holm — she actually offered a lot of praise — Rousey had no problem saying “she’s a nice chick that’s going to lose.”
“She’s a nice chick. I don’t have anything against her,” Rousey said. “She’s a nice chick that’s going to lose.”
Rousey admitted this fight probably wouldn’t end as quickly as her previous ones and gave a quick rundown of Holm’s résumé to explain why.
“This one’s going to be a much longer fight because she’s a 19-time boxing world champion with 100-percent takedown defense and, like, head-kick knockouts,” she said. “She’s undefeated and an amazing athlete, definitely the biggest threat to me. Especially on paper and stylistically, she’s the type of fighter you have to be very, very patient with.”
Rousey also how she puts on the perfect game face, a technique taught to her by her godfather — “look at them through your eyebrows.”
