More often than not, there isn’t too much good that comes out of a relationship with a cheating spouse. But this Texas woman considers her situation to be a blessing in disguise.

Betsy Ayala admitted that she was the chubby child growing up and even got up to 210 pounds in college. After becoming pregnant with her daughter, her weight shot up to 262 pounds.

According to Daily Mail, the 34-year-old found out that the husband she’d been with for a total of 14 years was having an affair in 2013. She also later found out that the ex-husband and his mistress would call her fat in text messages behind her back. Instead of letting this destroy her, she used it as motivation to start living a healthier lifestyle.

She began hitting the gym and taking Zumba classes with her sister three days a week. She also switched out her junk food for healthy shakes. Ayala loved the way she began to feel, she even stepped up her gym regimen to six days a week. Now, she’s lost over 100 pounds and she looks amazing.

Ultimately, she’s the winner in the end, she got rid of a cheating husband and got herself in the best shape of her life. Kudos to her.
