For example, this year’s Super Bowl appearance will mark the ninth for the New England Patriots, which is an NFL record. Head coach Bill Belichick, and quarterback Tom Brady will be making their seventh, which is a record for the most by a head coach/quarterback combination.

The graphic gives insight into average ticket prices from the past five Super Bowls and even an estimated percentage of things people would miss for a chance to see their team play in the big game. Surprisingly, 15 percent of people polled would miss the birth of a child to go to a Super Bowl, which was closely followed by funeral of a loved one at 19 percent.

Oh, and did you that an estimated 1.23 billion chicken wings will be eaten and and 51.7 cases of beer will be sold? Now those are some numbers we can get behind.
