Leave it to the Los Angeles food scene to come up with another completely baffling food combo. The latest mind-boggling fusion comes courtesy of the Low-Key Poke Joint in Riverside, California, which decided to that it would be a good idea to make a burrito out of nori, stuff the burrito full of green tea-infused rice, salmon, tuna and spicy tuna and then coat said burrito in Flamin’ Hot Cheeto dust, because this is America.
I’m really not sure how I feel about this SoCal concotion. On one hand, it looks like the end result of a 10-year-old kid dropping mom’s lunch into their afternoon snack. But, then again, it’s also been getting some decent Twitter reviews.
Maybe I’ll just wait until Taco Bell comes out with this in a couple months or so.
