SO true...

Quoted: Cancer has a cure. That breakthrough medical news is not the result of grueling medical research published in the New England Journal of Medicine. Instead, it is brought to us via fading actress-cum-Thighmaster queen-cum-New Age health guru Suzanne Somers.

Whoa. Awkward show.

Quoted: During the taping of his CBS late-night show, Letterman discussed receiving a threat to either pay $2 million or risk the relationships with female employees being made public.

A 3-D view of Michael Jackson's home arcade. Pretty amazing. Its a flash based 3D Virtual Tour, so it loads a little slow. But its worth it.

Could be another great HBO series, and a nice thing for the area, assuming it's filmed here. I liked the book a lot.

Quoted: Actor-producer Rita Wilson will be in charge of developing a one-hour series out of the Pulitzer Prize-winning Jeffrey Eugenides novel, "Middlesex."

Quoted: HBO has not commented yet on whether the series will actually be filmed in Detroit, but going off of recent trends (the network's new series "Hung" was filmed in the metro area), there's a good possibility.

Bankruptcy court is really confusing and annoying. How do you amass $1.8 billion in debt if you're "making" $275 million a year? Is this basically the corporate equivalent of paying the just the monthly minimum on a high balance credit card for a decade or two? And how can their CEO say that the plan to "shed" $1.2 billion of debt and pay back $600 million when the company "makes" $275 million in a "good" year is putting the company on "solid ground"?

Quoted: In an effort to shed $1.8 billion in debt, popular theme-park chain Six Flags announced Saturday that it was filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy... the company actually performed well in 2008, attracting 25 million visitors and making $275 million. But it could not keep up with its debt obligations.
