Try this out people. You might be surprised by which candidate most closely matches you.

Quoted: Okay, here's a really simple way to find out which candidates share your views. This script is composed entirely of data collected by www.2decide.com. Enter your choices below and hit GO to rank the candidates.

  • Redotted from Mohit. I ranks candidates based on the proximity of their stands on issues to your own. I, like Mohit, was surprised who showed up at the top of my list! But not surprised at all about those who showed up at or near the bottom with negaitve scores.

This is a script composed of data from a site that some folks dotted earlier today. What a great idea!

I was surprised by the candidate that showed up for me -- and no it wasn't Clinton, Edwards, or Obama.

looks like I match closest to Kucinich - the one flag they are missing is "bat shit crazy". Clinton and obama were a close second,

Great dot, Mohit. Looks like it's gotten too popular though. Today, I'm getting an error that they site has exceeded their CPU allotment on the server. A little patience pays off though.

I got Gravel agreeing with almost all my views. but i didn't change the 'meh' weight on any of them.

    • RHceleste - Jul 23 2007

      1. Kucinich, 2. Gravel (!), 3. Obama
I have to say, this didn't really make my decision any easier. President Gravel is just too scary a thought for me to deal with!

    • timchao - Jul 23 2007

      Kucinich 47
      Gravel 43
      Obama 30

Pretty solid, but I think the weightings need more flexibility. I mean, three categories for Same-sex *blank* but one for healthcare? Sure I can pick meh vs. key, but healthcare is about 50 times more important to me then same-sex issues. And where are the issues on taxes and spending?
