    Years ago I remember reading in sci-fi stories about how technology would eventually cause people to become physically isolated from the rest of humanity. People would no longer have direct contact, but would only interact through some type of technology like computers and the Internet.

      I don't know if women can have a lasting online sexual relationship. Men are much more visually orientated, no? Also, I think sperm banks and artificial insemination, and even surrogate mothers, make remote control babymaking possible.
