ESPN is showing live matches from Wimbledon on this Internet channel. I'm dotting because the business model is unique -- they charge the ISPs for the service! Of course, ISPs won't do this unless they can pass the costs on to the customer somehow. And then, you have to wonder if this is better than ESPN just charging the customer directly.
Unfortunately for me, Comcast doesn't carry it yet.
Quoted: The program only fully works through Internet service providers who have signed up and paid ESPN for the programming. Viewers from non-subscribing ISP's only can see a preview (roughly 3-5 minutes of taped content), although there are occasions where ESPN360 is "all access" and permits all individuals to access the site.
