  This looks really promising (and perhaps too good to be true).

  Update: Installed this -- it requires a reboot (remember 5 years ago when MS was going to "eliminate" those?). Post-reboot, the news is positive -- they have replicated the most valuable features of the Firefox DOM inspector. I can now develop on IE without wanting to poke my eyes out. Thanks MS :)
