so had I! Yuck - I drank it the whole time I was there last week.
What a shame! I'm not sure NYC water was supposed to be the cleanest, although it did get rated as best tasting water ... After watching An Inconvenient Truth, I can't help but wonder if the upstate storms responsible for the increased turbidity are due to global warming. If so, it's not likely to get any better anytime soon!
