What would a TV version of This American Life look like? And is making one even a good idea? Believe us, we've wondered all of that ourselves. But now we're done, and we're super excited. Our first season of half-hour episodes debuts March 22nd on Showtime. We wanted to make a TV show that feels like the radio show, but isn't just the radio show on TV.   "This American Life" is my ALL TIME favorite NPR program. I listen to it online mostly. It's hard to catch at Friday night at 7 pm on 88.5. A program from September 2003 called "The Allure of the Mean Friend" is my favorite show to date. You can look it up in the archives and listen for free. Just install RealPlayer.
