This will be my next phone.
Quoted: Brilliant, as the British say: take the side-sliding QWERTY keyboard design from popular HTC-made Pocket PC phones such as the Cingular 8525, T-Mobile MDA and Verizon XV6700 and use it on an MS Smartphone. When we first saw the HTC Vox (that's developer's code name for the HTC S710 and carrier branded versions such as the Orange SPV E650) in prototype at the beginning of January, we wondered why we, HTC or anyone else hadn't thought of this before?

I saw someone with it in Las Vegas (he was testing it). It's pretty cool - I'd miss my touchscreen but you're probably used to not having it with your older Smartphone.
Is it available now? I just picked up the Dash today - but have 14 days to return it for the HTC s710 if it is out. i'd prefer having querty as option (vs mandatory on the dash)
as msft employees we get a slight discount on these from:
http://www.mobileplanet.com/p.aspx?i=146741
So they are about $430.
Nice, but $430 is too steep for me.
i paid about $381 for my Dash. I didn't want to sign the contract again. I've been using the Dash for 24 hours. I upgraded to Windows Mobile 6.0 - but for some reason the phone has lost T-Mobile network - and nothing is getting it to reconnect. :( Have to go back to the dealer.
On the positive side: The instant email and nice IM interface are a plus so far.
