I do enjoy watching MSNBC's political programs. Keith Olbermann rocks as does Rachel Maddow (soon to have her own show). I have grown less enamored recently of Chris Matthews and his constant interrupting of guests. Joe Scarborough is a dull thud on a drum.
Have to agree with a comment on this article that the CSpan coverage was superlative. There were some amazing speeches not able to be heard over all the talk from commentators. On the positive side I suppose, no one can accuse the MSNBC anchors of overly praising each other.
Quoted: But competition is fierce. While anchors at Fox and CNN have tried to win viewers with affable banter, MSNBC is betting on unveiled contempt. And on Monday night it worked

Anchors Chris Mathews, Keith Olbermann, and Joe Scarborough frequently exchange pointed barbs with each other. At one point Joe Scarborough looked as though he might physically assault David Shuster.- MuddledMomma - Aug 31 2008 | news

Oh my god, parts of the article I co-wrote were plagiarized in this WSJ piece!
2 FaversViewed: 14 TimesQuoted: The Wall Street Journal has scrubbed an article from its website after learning that it was plagiarized from several sources. "A Nov. 10 "New Global Indian" online column by New York City freelance writer Mona Sarika has been found to contain information that was plagiarized from several publications, including the Washington Post, Little India, India Today and San Francisco magazine," a notice to readers now reads where the column once lived.

yikes... the sad thing is that it's working... which means more editorial rant news reporting. :(
I'd put money on Scarborough if someone put him in a ring against O'Reilly. That guy's ready to punch anyone. Maybe that's the future of American journalism - editorialists duking it out in televised boxing matches.
