Ha, awesome initiative. I'm applying for a job here!
Quoted: MANAGUA, Nicaragua -- It's been more than a quarter of a century since the Sandinistas toppled the dictatorship of Anastasio Somoza, yet the struggle for personal freedom and self-determination here continues.

good example of how free-form improv follows unconscious rules of normalization. they all do it the same.

I'm assuming (since it referenced Bill & Melinda) that this is the Program for Appropriate Technology in Health (PATH) but I was confused by the article since the initiative isn't specifically health oriented. Nonetheless, I'm still kicking myself almost 20 years later for giving up my admin. job there since, had I stayed, I would probably be procuring wigets for birth control production in far flung places. I'm happy to say I did have a hand in building a Chinese condom factory at one point!
Yup, that's the same place! Apparently they're expanding their operations quite a bit, both in terms of personnel and in terms of the approaches they're using to achieve overall public health improvements. Sounds like you did some cool work while you were there!
