Faves for this Web page
went here today based on ljc's recommendation (http://bluedot.us/users/ljc?show=64605846545)
the atmosphere was "new jersey diner". that's good or bad depending on what you're looking for.
the pancakes were very good, and they were generous with the fresh blueberries. the egg dish i had was scrambled with sausage and hash browns -- pretty good, but there was way too much cheese on top.
a notch below my favorite seattle brunch places, but still recommended as long as you set your expectations right.
this is my favorite diner, about 3 blocks from home. if you're in the southwest end of the u district, near the i-5 bridge, this is the best place for breakfast.

nice, thanks. how crowded does it get on weekends? is there a wait for a table?
- Drock - Sep 18 2006
in my experience, there is very little wait...a bit crowded, but they are totally on their game.

pancakes were very good and came with fresh blueberries. eggs were good, but the specific dish i had came with too much cheese.

i've also heard the sausages aren't the best quality, although they taste fine to me. still my favorite diner in the u district.
