kokoromi is making a very cool looking new game called "fez." Fez has the look of a standard pixelated platformer, replete with cutesy characters and whimsical worlds. The key difference is that it gets rendered to play as a 3d game. Nifty.

1131 views! This Fave has generated over 1500 visits from Google Search in the last week.
I just noticed that too! (in fact - I came to this page via Google after looking at analytics!).
The traffic started Feb 19th at 22 visits per day, peaked on Feb 21 at 400 visits per day, and is now back down to about 30 visits per day.
And this Fave is over 4 months old. Did the game just launch? Why the sudden burst of traffic?
Here it is. Fez was awarded Excellence in Visual Art and the Design Excellence award at the Independent Game Festival.

Hey, that's quite cool! Considering the counter has only clicked up a couple more notches, it appears that my Google love may be dying off but it's nifty to know that so many people ended up digging this game. It sure looked innovative to me! Go Kokoromi Fez! Searching for Kokoromi Fez brings up this Fave as #6 in the results right now. Now just imagine if people coming here from Google had been able to participate in the discussion somehow! Wink wink.
