If she hadn't called the copying "unintentional and unconscious," I would have more sympathy. Like anyone was going to buy that when she has identical language. I imagine the publishing world has also learned a lesson about giving book deals to 17-year-olds.

Damn, I bet Kaavya Viswanathan never plagiarizes again... Seeing as this was an "extra-curricular" novel, I don't think Harvard should really take any disciplinary action...
