  Watched 300 at the Cinerama last night. This movie benefits from their huge screen.

  I found it to be entertaining, well made, and very very violent. There isn't much plot and much of what is there doesn't even matter very much. This seems to bother some people, but I always try to have zero expectations going into a film so it was largely irrelevant for me. It really is simply a graphic novel come to screen.

  60% on rotten tomatoes and 8.2 on IMDB. I think this disparity is a good indication that the film polarizes its viewers. I'm giving it an 8.

    Yeah, I saw it in IMAX, which was sweet. I agree that there wasn't much plot, and personally I thought that was a positive, because that is not the point of the movie.
